PlateRadar connects to official state DMV databases to check real-time availability of vanity license plates. We track historical data so you can see when plates become available and set up notifications for the plates you want.
Which states are supported?
Visit our states page to see which states have instant checking (LIVE status) and which have cached data available.
Is the data accurate?
Yes! We pull data directly from official state DMV sources. Each plate shows when it was last checked so you know how fresh the data is. Premium users get priority checks with 5-minute cache times.
Can I reserve a plate through PlateRadar?
PlateRadar helps you check availability, but you'll need to complete the reservation through your state's DMV website. Each plate page includes a direct link to the appropriate DMV reservation page.
